    In fact I blame LT for the Ags fall from the top ... If he didn't go to TCU we wouldn't have had Fran come in with that god awful 5 play playbook

    TCU finished 10-2 in 2000 and were ranked 9th after the bowls. TCU was 1-10 the year before Fran took over. He completely turned that program around and Gary Patterson has improved on that.

    Briefly speakinig about the matchup, it's not a good one for the Aggies. Their offense has gotten the lion's share of its production in blowouts against absolutely horrific defenses (Utah State, New Mexico, UAB are statistically among the very worst d's in all of NCAAF, ranked 101, 111 and 113 in the country.) Against halfway decent defenses they haven't done too much. And now comes arguably the finest unit in the country...etc.

    On the other side, their defense is Von Miller rushing the passer + 10 chumps. Not looking good for them there despite Greg Davis' occasional "WTF" game plans, some shoddy blocking from the OL and John Chiles' impression of being a WR.

    it may be a long long looooong time before a&m ever has a better season then UT. but you will always have the 12th man and dixie chicken.

    nobody said we thought we had a better season. Just pointing out that Ut has not been as dominant over us as people think.

    Someone compared us to Baylor!!

    I think the most telling thing about this game is that this is just another game for UT on the road to a national championship game. This is A&M's championship game. :p
