if you had a private jet for the one-time use for flying to one place in the world to have a meal, and what would that meal be? I would've picked Bob Chinn's Crabhouse in Wheeling, IL, but they took the crab ravioli (my favorite restaurant dish of all-time) off their menu. So, I'd have to fly to Albuquerque, NM, to have the carne adovada at M&J's Restaurant. A close second would be San Francisco to have clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. Yum.
Duane's Ono Charburger Anahola, Kauai, Hawaii Just a shack on the side of the road, but they're still great burgers in paradise.
Ted's Cafe Escondido in OKC. I know, i know, i dont have to fly, but it's the bets mexican food I've ever eaten.
Wow! My first thought was Bob Chinn's too. I like their "rare Hawaiian ahi tuna". Their Mai Tai's are fun too.
Rocketman, I live in ABQ, NM. I'm never heard of that place unless we call it something else around here. I'd have to have go to Italy and try some of there "real pizza"
I believe it's on 2nd St. and it's only open during the day...I have a calendar from there in my apartment, so it's been in existence as recently as last December. I'm also a big fan of Frontier and Charlie's Front & Back Door. We also used to eat at this single car garage turned restaurant run by a lady named Cecilia...she moved to a bigger building off Wyoming, but I'm not sure if she's still there. Duran's Pharmacy was always really good as well. super_mario, the MaiTais and bread at Bob Chinn's are outstanding.
There's a good chance I have. I visited there my entire life and my parents lived there for about two years. I've eaten at so many amazing restauarants, I can't keep track of them all. I'd give anything for a green chile cheeseburger from Blake's right now.
Dick's in San Antonio is an awesome restraunt. The only place were the waiters can be rude to their customers.
