The links not working for me. Is this the game where GS had J-Rich, Dunleavy, Arenas and other nba players while LA only had Kareem Rush and Mark Madsen?
GS had their regular season starting back court--that sure gives them a leg up. Looks like Rush played very well. Of course it is just 1 game, but I have been telling ya'll MD is going to shoot crappy and be crappy this year.
Dunleavy shot 3-14(7pts) in the laker game. It was the Suns- Warriors 149-126 shootout where he had his 7-11 22pt outburst. Since I was up late tonight and not too much action here I went over to warriorsworld to see what they thought of MD. One of their guys was at the summer league and had some interesting comments. He said MD was ordering everybody around in the games and getting POed when people were missing their assignments. Someone also said that MD even seemed a little aloof at times and in practice was telling(ordering?) his new teamate Jiri Welsch to give him the ball back to him instead of shooting it himself after he had rebounded a Dunleavy shot. Sounds a little bossy to me. Maybe the prospects for the upcoming season were getting to him because I have never heard of MD being a prima donna or anything like that. Anyway, 2 things really cracked me up. 1. They were seriously bummed because they had 3 of their starters for the regular season in the game and they still lost. (This is the really funny one) 2. During the game Mark(Mad dog) Madsen was going off on them inside(Troy Murphy I think). Couldn`t have been too much cause he only had 8 pts but they also said at one point in the game when they were pressing that Madsen was bringing the ball across mid-court dribbling and beating their press with EASE. lol
Also it seemed like they really liked their Euro Jiri Welsch. Said he played really good D, had a nice stoke and pretty good handles. Gives me good hope for Nachbar.
