... with the intent of buying anything I could use that was well-priced for its quality and applying the gift card. I walked around the store a few times considering everything. Is it sad that in the end, the decision came down to underwear or a pair of socks (both priced not too great as well)?

Everything felt like it was poor quality and not worth spending a half-measure on (might as well spend even less for something of that quality) or fair quality but extremely overpriced (I could find the same deal online but far cheaper than the $10 discount I could receive).

Is it just me? I feel less and less reason to walk into department stores.

Go to the 70-90% off area. Although the "original" prices are still inflated, I've found some good deals in the discount section.

Kohl's uaully has very good prices. I've gotten ties, t-shirts, and some shorts close to 10 dollars there. Maybe you went on a bad day.

With all due respect, what do you expect with $10?

If you go to Kohl's, don't go unless you have a 30% coupon in the mail and they are doing a door busters.

Bad news is they will probably not be sending those out or doing any great promos until after Christmas.

We have purchased name brand stuff for 40-65% percent off with those deals.

To RedRowdy and slandBalla, I wasn't trying to just spend $10 from the gift card. I was looking to buy anything in the store I might need and apply $10 off... but the merchandise was all overpriced and low quality at each respective price.

My point was, I guess I've never felt so strongly the death of department stores until the other day.

    -----------------
I know my thread is not Hangout Epic. I will post modified version now:

I went in with the intent of buying a powerdancer that was well-priced for its ride ride quality and applying the gift card. I walked around the store a few times considering everything Sura faints to. Is it sad that in the end, the decision came down to underwear or mayzar (both priced not too great as well)?

Everything felt like it was T-Mac quality and not worth spending my half-measure on (How do people last longer in bed?) or UFO exposure quality but extremely 2012 (I could find the same Russian Bride online but far cheaper than the $10 discount I could receive).

Is it just me? I feel less and less reason to participate in celebrity sex tapes.

    What a friend!

First they give you a gift card to Khol's.

    Second it's for a lousy $10.

    Third WTF???

    C'MON MAN!!! ;)
