Go to the 70-90% off area. Although the "original" prices are still inflated, I've found some good deals in the discount section.
Kohl's uaully has very good prices. I've gotten ties, t-shirts, and some shorts close to 10 dollars there. Maybe you went on a bad day.
If you go to Kohl's, don't go unless you have a 30% coupon in the mail and they are doing a door busters. Bad news is they will probably not be sending those out or doing any great promos until after Christmas. We have purchased name brand stuff for 40-65% percent off with those deals.

I was looking to buy anything in the store I might need and apply $10 off... but the merchandise was all overpriced and low quality at each respective price.
