Food for thought. He's the only guy who's been in a similar situation: injured, with the team adopting to playing without him, and fans saying the team actually plays better without him.
Because he's his teammate, as it stands, is the only person who's been here longer than Tracy, and the co-franchise player, sort-of. Of course, there's the possibility. We aren't required to be in the know but it'd help to know Yao'd willingly involve himself in the dirtier affairs considering he's always shown in the good light.
I suppose the best thing he could talk to Mac about would be dealing with the frustration of not playing. There probably is a chance they have spoken already, but honestly I'd bet that their relationship isn't as strong as it used to be.
I also recall Tracy admitting that Yao was the best on this team, and what's sadder is that the TOF, Tracy only fans can't even admit that, when Tracy the one they worship can. I really doubt he was giving a political answer either like the way Dwyane Wade did with Kobe Bryant in the off-season. Talking to Tracy won't help. Just let it die.
If anything Yao should be having his agents put out feelers to other teams about playing there next season! Especially if all this stuff is true about the Coach & Manager. The Rocket's Reputation will be worth Zero. The big names won't come to Houston for fear of the same treatment.
Why? So Tracy can look at Yao in confusion as he tries to figure out half of what he just said? Might as well have Moses, Hakeem, and Dikembe come talk to him too....
yao is the biggest problem the last 4 years with disfunctional legs we always have to play a certain way for half a year then switch to another the rest of the way
Think about what happened to Liu Wei these days, who happened to be Yao's former teammates,I don't think Yao is a good talker.
