What is your most hopeful outcome with the T-mac situation?

  1. He comes back strong and plays like T-mac of old

    29.9%
  2. He comes back, humbles himself, and blends into Adelman's system

    38.1%
  3. He comes back strong and gets traded

    12.6%
  4. Never plays in a Rockets uniform again (cut / traded)

    18.0%
  5. Other

    1.5%

After seeing Dada's "push" poll I felt that it was necessary to put up a more fair and balanced (not to quote Fox News per se but...) poll which reflected realistic scenarios.

I really didn't want to start a T-mac thread, but I didn't want to see someone try to push poll people into taking a side either.

might help if you added a poll.

No matter how you slice it, I think the majority of fans are tired and just want him traded.

For the good of the Rockets organization and Tmac himself.

Sometimes things don't work out between player and organization, they both need a fresh start IMO.

And it was not a push poll, you only say that because you don't like the results.

    ;)

Trade. The team wants to move on and Tmac wants to play. It was nice times watching this team overachieve with Tmac an Yao at the helm with some very ordinary role players.

Very bright future ahead for the club. Best wishes to Tmac hes been a hell of a player during his stay here( bar last year ).

well its hard to make a assesment since no one here knows how he actually played today (thought it be the first thing asked).

anyway, everyone is tired of the drama, if hes not wanted, trade him, stop being all secretive.

if hes ready let the guy play, since hes the most talented player our roster has....

its gotten to poin where it doesnt matter anymore, last year tracy was handled the situation like a idiot, this year the organization is being really petty.

For me personally I was looking foward to see our team with a healthy mcgrady, now lets just wait and see, because the way this soap opera is going tommorow adleman will appear and say t-mac is strating next game.... who knows right?

It is when you make it about having to choose between Adelman/Morey and T-mac?

Geez...if it comes to that, even I will pick the coach and GM. Of course. That doesn't mean I want to get rid of t-mac - thus it's a "push poll" you are pushing people to say they want to get rid of t-mac with the way you ask the question.

Very clever Dada, very clever. You should do political polling!

There's an other category for that.

Hypothetically speaking, if it were possible for him to come back, humble himself, and blend into the system, who wouldn't want that to happen? He would be a great asset and make the game easier for the rest of the team (notably, Ariza... he should just not handle the ball, but that's a different topic).

I mean, people can hate T-Mac but I think they have to be pretty blind if they can't see the benefits to the team.

I think there is just no way to do a decent poll, because all the answers are black and white.

What if he comes back strong, but it takes 30 games to get there and it sacrifices the developmental time of Chase Buddinger?

What if he attempts to come back strong, but never quite gets there and only comes back average?

I mean honestly I think it is just too hard to do a poll, I admire your efforts though, but I don't believe the end result is what you wanted.

Because he might be strong, he might be average, he might suck......he might not be healthy....

Just not able to have a fair and balanced poll my man.

I voted for....Never plays in a Rockets uniform again (cut / traded). But I kind of want him to do what he can this season, and then not re-sign him. I think that's better.

This poll isn't about predicting the future or what we THINK will happen.

It's about what we HOPE will happen.

I was hoping for a option for him to go into his T-Mac persona and go under the mask of our beloved Turbo, ala Batman, Spiderman, and Nacho Libre.

Considering we will have no cap space and we most likely get crappy contracts for me we better hope he comes back strong.

His days in houston are numbered. He might be traded pretty soon. Wherever he goes, i wish him all the best. He has been a great addition for this team. T-Mac i want to thank you for all the great memories. The 13pts in 35 secs against San Antonio. The "suck the gravity right out of the building" dunk on Bradley. The 22 game winning streak, in which you played a monumental role in. I guess its time for you and the team to move on.
