I like some of just about all kinds of music, but I'm very selective within all the types.

For instance I like some country artists, but definitely not any of the big pop ones. I don't like Garth Brooks, Faith Hill etc. I like Robert Earl Keen, Hank Williams sr. Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash etc.

I like Jazz, but I only like classical Jazz. Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and some of the others like that.

I like '80's underground music mostly though. New Order, The Jam, Devo, Elvis Costello, The Clash, the Pixies, Joy Division etc.

Old School rap like Run DMC, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, etc.

Most of the bands I like seem to be Pixies influenced. Nirvana, Toadies, Pavement, Weezer, and local band The Groceries. Other bands I like are STP, Soundgarden, and Smashing Pumpkins.

I used to be into nothing but hard core heavy metal...but my tastes have softened somewhat with age. I still love a good thrash metal song (love early Metallica), but I also like older rock as well as a lot of the progressive rock/metal out today.

Oh yeah, and I think that Tenacious D has their own category, since they have redefined music and are obviously the greatest band in all the land.

Dio rocked for a long, long time. Now it's time for them to pass the torch.

All kinds except for super-hard rock and ultra-smooth elevator-music style jazz. And sometimes, country can get on my nerves.

I listen to 103.7, the Mountain, and Star 101.5! Oh, and 98.1 Classical King FM

My favorite type of music is blues. After that, I like Texas blues, Louisiana blues, and country blues. When I'm not listening to the blues, I listen to blues.

Underground Hard Rock that I'm not sure any of you guys have heard of. The reason: I can go see them for 1/3 the prie of a regualr band and usually end up meeting them.

    From Zero
    SimonSays
P.O.D(I know you've heard of em)
