The only thing more annoying than the unappreciative T-Mac bashers with no short term memory is the endless string of comments about why a thread shouldn't exist or why it should be locked. Get a life, folks. If you don't like it, don't waste your own time and everyone else's with your sanctimonious little complaints. Just go to another thread.

When Rockets won 22 games in a row, Tmac was there, but he wasn't there for the second round.

Was he really a factor back then?

I don't quite see it that way,he's vet and has experience, but not to mention his lack of athleticism and quickness on the court, meanwhile his defense was not as a decent skill as Battier's.

We would of won more games consecutively had we Kyle Lowry instead of Bobby Jackson on the roster.

Yeah, I remember,I was one of them who left, that's what happens when you lose by 20. Maybe if you went to more than one or two games a year you would know that. That 22 game win steak was nice, but isn't even close to the playoff runs of the past. By the way, EVERY city is a "what have you done for me lately" city, that's what pro sports is about. Tickets are expensive, beers and food are expensive, people have the right to expect quality on the field of play, or are your parents still paying for your "recriational activities". To the OP, this thread is sooo played out, I think I've seen the same post 22 times, but I would say, the streak has gone the other way, with 22 fails!

His sarcasm escapes you. He's saying "so what", other players were there too, not tryin to say bobby jackson was anything important. Why is this thread still here?!?!?!

Tmac wasn't the main reason we won 22 in a row, it was the stellar play of the other Rockets and the coaching of Rick Adelman.

It wasn't like Tmac was burning up the league like when Kobe had all those 30 point games in a row.

So TMac's defense has to be better than some people claimed it to be?

exactly, although he contributed, it was the BEST rafer had ever played in his career, 16ppg and above 40% shooting...not to mention EVERYONE stepping up. Rafer however, obviously could not maintain that which is why we finally realized that we need a pg that can.

Sadly all people can remember is tmac scoring a lot on 20+ shots some games.

Yea, and then he responded by shooting 20% in the lakers game (22nd) and being completely nonexistant. The games vs atlanta was the one he played 48 min in.
