Pick 2... LT @ Denver (Almost looked like the old LT last week instead of just an old LT) Lynch @ Jacksonville (Due to break out any second) Beanie Wells @ St. Louis (Wells broke out last weekend) LeSean McCoy @ Chicago (Westbrook out) I Lost Ronnie Brown and I got burned last week benching LT after he burned me all year for starting him.
interesting. Yeah I think Cutler is still a risk. I'd go after Roethlisberger anyway if you could get him cheaper. With Forsett on your bench, I wouldn't mind taking the Slaton for Romo risk. But if you want to be safe, maybe wait till Monday night and see if Slaton gets most of the work again as some are predicting will happen. If so, maybe you can get a higher return next week even if you choose to deal him. oh and what would it take to get Ben? I think I'd take him even given your Pittsburgh dependence..
damn that is tough. I say bench Lynch.. the other 3 are tough. Denver has been gashed by the run in the 2nd half the last 2 weeks. Give me LT for one spot after his good showing last week. Between the other 2, I call a 100% toss up. Give me Beanie.
Ok, I have to start 3 running backs and my first two starters are no brainers: Thomas Jones at New England Steven Jackson vs Arizona I typically start Cedric Benson but he is out so I need a third starter. Here's what I have to choose from: Fred Jackson at Jacksonville LaDainian Tomlinson at Denver Jason Snelling at New York Giants Benard Scott at Oakland I'm leaning Fred Jackson but Bernard Scott and LT had awesome weeks last week as well. Help!!
Look what I am facing this week: Never trade away your star players early because of bad games people. NEVER!
I say Bernard Scott if Benson is out. (still tbd supposedly) Otherwise I'd go LT (tough to sit him...I just like Scott vs OAK). Clear 3rd, I'd go Snelling. For me, Jackson is the last pick..
I don't know what kind of a stupid league has someone with Mojo and Chris Johnson.. without enormous holes somewhere. Unless this is a 6 team league, that's just dumb. Mojo had a solid weeks 1 and 3, and CJ had the crazy week 2 against us. So people didn't trade them early because of bad games.. I don't know what the excuse is.
I'm glad that I benched Stewart. Got Betts, Mccoy and Slaton at the flex. Losing Ronnie Brown hurts but I think I can survive
Weeks 2-5 were not good for MJD except week 3. He was traded away after that bad game to Seattle. Weeks 1-5 were mediocre for C. Johnson as well except for the week 2 game and he was traded away after that bad game to Indianapolis. Both of these trades occurred after week 5. They traded them early because of bad games. 12 team league too. Like I said, don't trade away your good players early because they have a bad game here and there. NEVER!
That can go both ways.... imagine if you drafted Forte/Slaton/TO/Steve Smith (car)/Roy Williams... I'm sure glad I ditched 4 out of the 5 early.
hey he got normal work. pretty much the standard that he's gotten all season. if you'd played him before, i can't see how you'd be disappointed this week
i vaguely understand. Given weeks 1 and 3 out of mojo and is high expectation, i don't see how 2 good weeks out of 5 (and 3 not-so-good out of 5) is enough to trade him away. Nor do i see how mediocre weeks out of CJ are neough to trade him. Especially when you see a stud week like he had against us. I agree with not trading your good players early...but I don't understand trading THESE players THAT early
nice job. I avoided TO, Forte, and Roy (and Turner, which turned out to be dumb I guess aside from the recent injury) like the plague in all leagues. But I had Steve Smith in 1 league (out of 6) and have held onto him all season. Would have been nice if I had dealt him. Would have probably held onto Slaton if I had managed to draft him anywhere, but he was always drafted either too early or too late for me to get my hands on him...thankfully..
Yeah, well the two managers who traded these guys away have basically given the guy the trophy. Oh well, maybe there will be some monumental upset somewhere but the guys has not lost since he received both backs.
Right now I am starting the Baltimore defense at home against Indianapolis Should I take a flyer on the Chargers Defense (on the road against the Broncos) or the Lions Defense (at home against the Browns)? I think Peyton could go off this week on the Ravens and I am expecting a high scoring game. The Lions defense is projected to be a better play this week than the Ravens defense. But of course that means absolutely nothing.
the chargers can still be run on. i'd go with the Lions if you want to make a change.. but I'd stick with the Ravens if it was me. They're a big play D...always the possibility of a run back or something. I'd just hate to go away from them on a whim and have them score..
Need 2 out of these 3 guys: Steve Slaton- starting against Titans, fumbler but still not bad production. Pierre Thomas- no Reggie Bush this week, against the #31 rush D Bucs. Beanie Wells- best momentum of the 3, against #28 rush D Rams.
[should i] ...trade jennings for hightower? here's my team (standard ppr): qb: mcnabb hb:deangelo, betts, wells, bradshaw, forsett, moats wr: wayne, jennings, owens, maclin, avery, walter te: shiancoe def: cards k: longwell i'm currently 6-4 and should make the playoffs, but since the cards remaining schedule looks so easy i thought about acquiring hightower - just as an (expansive) insurance. would pull the trigger on that one or not?
