why would they deny it? would it really be that explosive if they both spoke together and admitted there was some tension over getting back on the court but wanted to make sure tmac was completely healthy before getting back?

The Chron article did say they met (confirming the Yahoo reported meeting) and did say that they disagreed - heated? maybe maybe no but they still don't agree. Now if it wasn't heated and assuming it was just the 2 of them and Rick's office isn't bugged, either Rick or Tracy has loose lips and at least embellished on the conversation (assuming that is all it was).

I don't think Rick called Yahoo.

i mean really, can anybody really see mcgrady (laid back guy) and adelman (the ultimate players coach) yelling at each other during a meeting?

who said tmac ran to the media? It says the source was close to tmac, not that the sourse is tmac or was told by tmac to give info. Tmac may have confided in someone and they sold out. It could even be an employee at tmac's home that overheard a conversation between tmac and someone else about the "argument". That's enough to label them "close to tmac" since they're obviously not close to adelman or the rockets. Media that needs secret sources is more likely to bend the rules/stretch the truth to get the story out.

just another topic blown out of proportion by yahoo to create buzz. I really doubt there was yelling anyway. maybe some disagreement but yahoo exaggerated too much

Surely God is as sick of this drama as the rest of us. We know He is a Rocket's fan. Well, at least during the mid-ninties. ;)

I am beginning to believe there is a conspiracy here. Someone who is neither TMac nor the Rockets brasses is "leaking" dubious things to the media about the relationship between TMac and Adelman-Morey.

There was a disagreement I'm sure, but it seems to me that the article is exaggerating what went on.

man seriously im dissapointed in the rockets organization on this one.. the mri on november 23rd is crap. the only legit cover up they have is the full practice on monday. other than tha this is all a scam.. i feel bad for t-mac on this one. i havent really liked him these past few years but their doing him wrong right now.. and anyone who thinks t-mac is being selfish is dumb.. he has repeatedly said he wants to come back so he can help and be apart of the TEAM.. not make the team apart of HIM.. how would you feel if u knew you were ready and able to do something u love and someone is repeatedly telling you no?? the rockets organization hasent shown to much class lately...right now their just looking like a bunch of cheapskates...

Even if this whole argument is true, it would just stupid for them to tell media everything. TMac's trade value will plummet if other teams think that Rockets is desperate to get rid of TMac. Look what happen to Stephen Jackson. Bobcats got him for a bag of chips.

I'm not saying it happened but I'm saying if it did happen they would deny it. Most arguments behind closed doors are denied by the people involved. It would make sense to sweep it under the rug and try to work things out.

Woj has been known to hold grudges, and it is evident in most of his articles where his bias lies. He absolutely blasted Jordan when others just shrugged it off (I personally loved the HOF speech). He blasted LeBron. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he isn't fond of McGrady, either.
