some of my friends know about the site they sometimes come to see stuff but nothing like what it would be for you guys in houston. the most random CF story i think I had was when I was at costco and the guy boxing saw my Rockets jersey and said he was a Rockets fan too and asked if i was on this bbs. I told him I was he said he lurks and has never posted and i tell him my bbs nick and he goes NO WAY thats you. i felt really awkward and a complete nerd at that moment
I was getting on a plane from Orlando to Houston in July and I saw Clyde Drexler in first class. When we found our seats, my wife said "are you going to tell your Rockets friends (that means you guys) that you saw him?" I said, "No, unless I have a picture, they'll never believe it." Just then, a guy walking by heard us and said, "Oh, you must be talking about Clutchfans." I just smiled and said yeah. Not sure why, but I was a little creeped out about it. Must be the whole "worlds colliding" thing. I wonder who that guy was. Anyone here fly from Orlando to Houston back in July? On a plane with Clyde Drexler?
No, but I was on a plane to Frankfurt last week that had Von Wafer on it. He was 3 rows back from me in Business. But I don't have pics.
Best clutchfans moment: Went to one of Another Brother's stand-up shows and he had known that there was going to be some clutchfans there so he gave us a shoutout. The_Yoyo said who he was, then he asked me who I was and I say "Trader_Jorge" The look on his face was priceless.
Many of the subjects here are ones other friends of mine talk about so I've been tempted to get them to check out ClutchFans. JV thinks it wouldn't be such a great idea, there'd be a sudden surge of mom-related threads.
