Andersen played well against the lakers and celtics. I think that showed his winning mentality. I expect him to play well in the playoffs.

is it just me or does it seem like andersen's starting to play like an NBA big man? he's going for boards and trying to defend. he needs to use some elbows like deke.

The only people who hunt and drink Fosters all day are Red Necks who don't know that' there's more to Australia than stereotypes they picked up watching Comedy Central.

As if Okur was THE PLAYER. Soft flopper. Better shooter but not by much.
DA is going to get there sooner as one might think.

    Article quote:
Yep. It must be Rudy's fault. ;)

(Kidding, of course. Anderson hadn't shown this level of play before the Laker game.)

    Just so it's perfectly clear:

Australians DO NOT DRINK FOSTERS!! That's just a marketing gimmick to make weak willed Americans buy a beer in the hope that they'll receive a boost to their manliness.

If only they knew the wonders of the real Aussie beer brands!

+1... Nobody drinks Fosters over in Oz land. Victoria Bitter (VB) ftw!!! Owned by Fosters Group though.

andersen has been proving me wrong. he has been improving every game and really working hard out there. we all knew he had a shot, but he is really working on boxing out and using his height more. lets hope he can continue to improve so that he can keep helping the rockets!

(i'm ok with eating crow when it helps the rockets in the end)

I knew David wouldn't fall under the big lights of the NBA. After all he has won 3 Euroleague championships so that has helped him a lot.

I hope he makes a great backup for Yao in the future and brings a lot of pressure off the great wall.

Andersen seems less frantic on defense and rebounding now, and he's trusting his shot more. Progressing normally.

    Good read.

That's all we can ask for from DA ... keep improving, contributing and getting consistent.

Besides dirk, he might be the best shooting 7 footer in the league.

I dont think DA would be an authentic C,probably a skinny OKUR.
next season when yao back,I hope DA could play a few minutes of PF along with YAO,and a few minutes as C along with landry.scola cant stay with this aussie b/c they two are both too soft to defend the paint area

it cant be easy for a guy near 30yrs old to grow too much muscle .My opinion is why not let DA to be a long range shooter.when he play against some really huge C ,i am earger to see DA shoot them to death

I like Andersen, but comon okur?. mehmet is a far, far superior interior defender, rebounder, shotblocker and passer. he is away better player. mehmet is a borderline allstar, DA is well, a very solid bench playeror even if he keeps improving he'll never be okur..
