I'm trying to come up with a smart-ass punchline, but that's probably not even necessary.

Ariza is pretty much like ron except with worse handles, more quickness, and a better attitude, but he isn't much of an upgrade. He jacks up a lot of bad shots and his d is overrated, and I know he is avg a bunch of steals, but steals != good d.

Ariza is not gonna jump on the team bus infront of the owner and the rest of the shareholders in he's underwear efore the biggest game of the year. ariza is'nt a cancer. Ariza is 24 and will improve. ron is allready decline mode and has been for a while now.

It's not just about the numbers .. there are more aspects like off the court conduct.

ariza finally got back to spot up jump shooting tonight. the first half, he was just as bad as ron artest trying to do too much. 2nd half, he transformed into shane battier and penetrate only off of passes.

if ariza can be like what he was in the 2nd half v. minny, he's an upgrade easily. if not, artest is actually better b/c artest can actually create a little bit.
