You are the exception and should feel lucky. I waited in a long ass line for a passport. I paid extra for overnight both ways and for rush process but that did not save me the time to apply.

I have come to really dislike the post office. Most of their business is there because we have no other choice. They are the only service that I have to go pick up my package. It is always worth the extra ~ 2 bucks for fedex when I ship. Junk mail FTL.

Dude I met a guy who worked for the post office for customer service evaluations. After a long conversation I'm guessing filing a complaint does little to nothing. Pretty hard to get fired.

Are you upset because you paid for the rush process, a service that doesn't need to be offered and if it is obviously should cost more

do you thinks another entity than the government should be involved in issuing passports

Like the bureaucratic system at any thousand companies is any easier to deal with? Like companies don't lose money, go bankrupt, have inefficiency, break laws, commit fraud, etc etc. Listening to you guys talk about the dastardly government as you gloss over what private business does in this country is just hysterical. You guys must live in fantasy land.

Blame Bush for raiding the USPS coffers to cover government pensions, because he use that money for Iraq/Afgan wars. Thats why the USPS is in bad shape. Going to take awhile to fix that. Also, there union has some blame also.

yeah when you say things like "you're lucky" and "I waited in a long ass line" what would give me that impression?

"I have come to really dislike the post office" also shouldn't have led me to think you were upset. silly me,

I would be MUCH more inclined to file a complaint at a FedEx or UPS store. Something might actually get done and the employees might actually be held responsible.

    caseyh

polictical or not, YOUR critcism (long line), (complaint about them being the only entity to provide certain services), and YOUR CLAIM of DISLIKE (Casey's words) gives me reason to ask why you're upset

if you say you dislike something after complaining about it, why do I need to lighten up for just asking why did it make you upset?

You didn't say "Why are you upset?" You said something like "Are you upset because you paid for the rush process, a service that doesn't need to be offered and if it is obviously should cost more" That is obviously a loaded d-bag question. I had to pay for rush for my own reasons. But the

I didn't say it sucks they are the only entity. I just said the service takes a long ass time. I have a bunch of experience with USCIS and never had any experience like Donnymost had.

yes, after your last claim of "dislike", in the total context of your posts on the subject, I asked why would that make you upset, a reasonable assumption
