    HAHAHA

    bets thread!

    DD is cool.
He is quite entertaining, much insightful and explains carefully what he thinks. He might be wrong a lot of time, that is because.. he shares every single Rockets thought with us. And that is what we want.

On the other note: eat at least some of crow, DD :)

Out of all the stuff in this thread this misses the mark the most, and I think a lot of people have that same view.

I don't honestly care one iota about attention etc, I do have fun talking with fellow Rocket fans and discussing every little minute detail about the team, roster, asset management, everything.

And, I do view this like a big internet family, where we bicker but we honestly all are here for the same reasons. Sometimes I post stuff just for the fun of it to see the reaction, but it is not for attention per se, it is for fun....and it boggles my mind that people actually think spending all this time and energy is for some mythical internet attention, like that is some sort of validation for Rocket fandom? What does that mean anyway?

The way I look at it is that there are just some fans that are more vocal and opinionated than others, and they are the ones stirring the drink per se, starting intersting converstion, putting thoughts out there for debate, and genuinely contributing to the GARM and this place overall.

That doesn't mean we are all going to agree, heck many times we are not going to agree...but that is what makes this place great, what is strange is that so many take what is said here personally.

I can honestly say that I would crack open a brew with anyone on here and talk Rockets and have enjoyed meeting TONS of Clutchfans in Austin as well as in Houston.

I mean to call someone an attention w**** is really silly, isn't that just drawing attention to yourself as an Anti-attention w**** who in reality is looking for acceptance by the opposite minded people?

Meh...too much thought......just be a Rocket fan, post what you think....and don't take anything personal.

It is just a fan site.....though the best on the planet....

As much fun as I have had in this thread, as I found it funny, and sooooo unecessary, just let it die.

    Go Rockets !!!

    DD

PS. I am happy to eat crow when I am wrong, Dan Langhi is the most wrong I have been, but in this instance, I said Ariza and Battier are redundant, and that we need a contrast in skill sets...the OP is mixing what I said with others that were more harsh....

Oh please, you know I like you ok? Shhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!!!!!!

Did I forget the ;) in my post there? Dude, chill.

To some degree, everyone on here is an attention w****. Anyone with over a 1,000 posts - the only ones that aren't are those lurkers. We all want people to read our opinions and all type here to get attention. It's not like this terrible crime - it's pretty human.

I'm just making fun of you and yes, I think you are loving this thread. C'mon! You know it!

Probably, I guess he figured out that DD also has super secret interwebz address tracking and thus has been caused to buy a new house to get back on here and post useless tirades about other users because they *ack* change their opinions on some players... and out of 1 million posts occasionally replicates ideas that others may or may not have posted under aliases that are in the interest of national security.

Good thing mortgage rates are so low... this could get ugly.

You have seriously purchased a new laptop just to talk back to someone online? I understand that we all don't agree on everything, except for the Rocket winning, but for real? I'm just curious, not trying to knock you or anything.

Loaf - You are correct sir. Trevor played within himself....If he can approach this level of play on a consistent basis, then we're looking at a future star.Ariza should really shine with more court time and the benefit of playing with the talent obtained for Tracy.Add Yao and it's going to be sick..Trevor's really a player who needs to get it within the flow, but tonight was eye opening.

No need to eat crow. Battier and Ariza are redundant. Battier goes 11-19 FG all the time.

.....and I mean no offense to DaDa.

Honestly you guys who see him as the Antichrist blow me away. Dude has been preaching strong to the point I've agreed with him probably 80 - 90 % of the time( on basketball related posts) for the duration of clutchcity's trip.
