I'm looking for a cheap ($400-$500) laptop - do you think those will go quickly? They will have some good deals at bestbuy.
I still have my old NES system. In fact, I have an old NES system that was never even taken out of the box. Its still brand new. My family won it in some sort of raffle auction when we already had an NES system, so its been sitting in a box at my parents house for like the past 20 years. I don't know how much something like that would be worth.
You can get a cheap laptop like that year round if you look on sites like Slickdeals. I personally feel Black Friday is over rated, since alot of these deals can be had online year round if you are proficient with looking for online deals.
Hopefully NBA 2K10 will be overshadowed by the other deals going down. Will be there at 5 am then, thanks.
How early do you guys think someone would need to be at Target to get a fair selection on some of the deals?
I want a washer/dryer that Best Buy is selling, but I have to work that day. I may just drop by at 4am or whenever they open and see what's going on... if it's insanity I'm just going to come back home and go back to bed. Luckily I live within about a mile of a Lowe's, Walmart, Home Depot, Super Target, and Best Buy.
You can get deals better than that today. Last month I bought my mom an Acer laptop for $329 and she's loved it. Here it is at Bestbuy
I found a couple completed Ebay auctions for Mint In Box NES systems, that finished around $50-$75. I'm a little wary of those, however, since it appears that they are used systems that happened to still have the box. If you still had an actual packed up with all documentation NES in the box (still has plastic, etc), I'd say $100 or so. Maybe even more in a year or two when we come out of recession a little more.

http://www.notebooks.com/2009/11/14/black-friday-sony-vaio-nw-laptop-bestbuy/ This is the one I'm looking at...don't know how good it is and the "regular" price is 549.99 so I'm not sure how much of a bargain it is.
I might (big emphasis on might) try to go out this year and see what the big deal is. How does it work? Is it first come, first serve? Do they hand out tickets to the first people there? What?
