Rudy will be happy about more playing time. Roy about more shots. Outlaw's the backup PF this season. Webster, Blake, and Rudy have the backup SG/SF positions tied up.

Good point, and people here have to accept the truth that the Rockets don't have anybody the Blazers will give up Rudy Fernandez for, including Shane.
Strongly disagree. If contracts were a bit closer, Blazers would kill to swap them. Battier is just what they need - Webster and Outlaw have been frustrating and inconsistent on both ends of the floor since arriving. Battier will improve Roy (more shots, guards weaker 2/3) AND Oden (experience playing with post man, 3-pt range spreads floor, defense reduces foul trouble) AND Miller (less ball hogs, corner 3 spreads floor).
