Hello everyone. I've been back stateside for about 10 days, & I'm about to ship out once again to jolly old Afghanistan or the Luzon area of the S. Pacific. I discovered this site on base while I was stationed near Kabul & then Kandahar. Anyways, I'm taking off in the morning. I've met soldiers from all around the world, & many are Rockets fans (some from places like Pakistan!) I'd like nothing more than for my fellow H-town fans to give me a big-time shout-out to my brothers & sisters fighting for us overseas. I'd print out the replies & pass them along. Thanks! Semper Fi! God Bless the USA & our Clutch City heroes!
from NYC, good luck guys! keep cheering for the rockets, they will suprise everyone this year. -- -- l l__l l l l__l l l l__l l l l__l l l l__l l
God bless you guys and stay safe. I wish we could take shots from the three point line to decide the war.
Thanks to all of you in the armed forces!! God Bless you, God Bless America, and God Bless the Houston Rockets!!

I am in the Navy and have lived in houston all my life, i was a clutchcity viewer for years before i joined the Navy and fortunatly i have a job that allows me to check my favorite site everyday. We are headed to the persian gulf soon and i know clutchcity will keep me informed throughout my tour in hell. thanks clutch for a great site and bringing a little part of home to my life everyday. btw, it would be great to have some of the locals there recording the games and sending them out here, i hate knowing i am going to miss seeing yao's first game.
Please- the Rockets are entertainers. The label "hero" should be reserved for people like the Marines.
My sincere thanks to all of you serving abroad, and I pray that each of you return safely to your families soon. In the meantime, go Rockets! btw, I also second the moving of this thread to the Hangout forum
God bless all of the members of our armed forces and our allies. Especially those who are smart enough to be Rocket fans.
This seems appropriate for this thread: http://www.defendamerica.mil/nwam.html A compiled list of names will be sent out to the troops at the end of this month. So far, there are around 290k.
Hey Folks! I'm back in Afghan land, & we've been deserted by our good buddies, the British. We'll remember that next time they get invaded. Anyways, I'm on a laptop out here in the sun, so I'm unsure whether or not this will even get through. Thanks a million for all the kind posts. Maybe one day we can meet at a ballgame & hang out. Thanks again, everyone. God bless. We'll win this for you, I promise. We're fighting an ideology, not a clear-cut enemy. I'm of the opinion that violence begats violence, & we need to work on the hearts & minds of these people. Not literally, of course. Well, time for lunch. Take care. If I'm able, I'll periodically check in. See you someday.
