Don't know the issue with Gates or Mass. law. I never implied he was arrested for Pi or alcohol was even present at the time. Someone just kept saying over and over that people do not get arrested for mouthing off. I pointed out it is very common for people to get arrested for mouthing off and Disorderly Conduct and PI were the common charges in these circumstances.

I am not gonna look up something to prove to you something that should be common sense. They have a meter reader show that comes on tv though and you are welcome to watch it when you like. My wife watches this and I have seen people get arrested on that show. That is not where my experience or knowledge on the subject comes from, but it might be helpful for you.

Correct, she was not her entire race,Just as he was and not his entire race. Clever usage of words also. When talking about him you say blacks are oppressed. When talking about her you say she was.

No that is one instance and an improvement in race relations, but the President doesn't equal all power. Whites run the corporations, congress, school boards, law enforcement agencies, etc.

Think about it, if all whites discriminated against blacks because of their race, it would go back to the era of Jim Crow or worse. If all blacks that were in a position to discriminated against whites looking for jobs, promotions, law enforcement etc. there would be very little change in the way things work, and for some people there would be no change at all.

That's what I mean when I say the consequences of white racism are far more grave than black racism.

Again, you don't understand affirmative action. Cops do pull over blacks in situations where whites would not be pulled over.

At smaller, private colleges where admission criteria are flexible, diversity is low and current Court rulings and statewide voter-initiatives have no authority. But at large public schools that already enroll blacks in large numbers, not so much. I think what resentful white kids sometimes forget is that, yes, there really are smart blacks who can get into good colleges on their own, and that AA programs usually seek out those kids first before cold-calling the rest of us or setting up a booth at Popeye's.

It really doesn't matter, though, because it all evens out with a swift and brutal vengeance in the corporate world.
