Go Lowery Go. He is very exciting. We may have an All Star if he can develop his shot a bit more.

Top 5 PG in the NBA.....lol just kidding.

But he probably could develop into a solid starter if he starts relying more on his jump shot and skill than contact and the officials. Especially when he's not a real somebody in this league, the calls will not go your way if you always try to draw contact. I really want him to be the future PG for this team, not Brooks.

I really agree with the bold parts - great points. Lowry needs to look for and knock down that 8 footer, but that's probably for the off season, I'd'know.

But I do want Brooks to have a future with the Rox. He can be so amazing sometimes, well most times. Though he can disappear for stretches, sometimes games. But he hasn't even been a starter for a full season, yet.

I hope Brooks becomes more consistent and realizes how talented he is. He seems to forget sometimes.

Brooks has a very low IQ, and IQ is incredibly important for a PG. Honestly, it's very very below average. He's a shooting guard in a Point guard's body when I think of him. Honestly, outside of scoring I don't see much use for Brooks. Hardly an adequate passer, below average defender, and he's too small to do anything else on the court.

Lowry is jut amazing. That little guy is relentless. That being said, I still think he should come off the bench. He works extremely well with the second group, mainly because he has more freedom, and more weapons to work with.

That's one of the main problems Brooks has. Teams either trap Brooks off the pick, or they over help to stop his penetration. Gotta put some creators with him at the 2,3 position if he is to succeed. That being said, he does need to become a bit more consistent with his shot.

maybe the rockets are being smart in not developing his jump shot until after his extension is signed this offseason. If he actually went trevor ariza on us and develops a jump shot, he'd be geting all star consideration.

without any doubt lowery is the best passer in this team, but also we need to admit AB is more efficient in scoring.at the first part of the game,we need AB to score for this team, and IMO he is the best player in the ratation to score at begining of the game

lowery and ariza both need to develop their jump shots, ariza still needs more work with his awkward dribbling.
btw why ariza looks so serious during the game,i never see his smile even the teammate make a amazing pass, or he himself did a exciting dunk

Someone needs to start a thread:

Why are there no videos of Ariza smiling?

Lowry was awesome last night, but Landry is making a very, very strong case for 6th man of the year if he continues at this pace. He has become pretty dominant on the offensive end and he's going to start commanding double teams once teams figure it out. And now he has significantly improved on the defensive end especially with weak side help.

Are we seriously going to change a props to our 6th man bench guard into, lets bash AB because you say he has no IQ thread?!?!

    That's ridiculous.

He would not be the starter on a Rick Adelman team if he had no bball IQ and he def. wouldn't be averaging 20 points and tearin up the Lakers D last year in the playoffs.

Is it just me or does Lowry remind you of a Running back? The height and weight to an extent but his build and the way he drives to the hoop with wreckless abandon.... I could see him running well between the tackles with speed to break the big ones.

I absolutely LOVE the lineup of:

    Lowry
    Budinger
    Ariza
    Landry
    Scola

Talk about a hard working, scrappy group. Those guys can make things happen on the defensive side and turn them into easy transition points.

Lowry just needs to work on his jumpshot and maybe stop trying to thread the needle with those bounce passes.

None of those guys can dribble well enough to move the floor. Lowry sort of can but he also cant play defense against say Chris Paul, Parker, Nash, Rose, Williams, and so forth.

Lowry was incredible last night; that game, although against the Grizz, was so much fun. Lowry is tailor-made for a fast-break.

Sidenote: Please don't spell his name "Lowery". :)

Dribbling and defense is not an issue with Lowry.
