Van Gundy with Hubie on the Cleveland Orlando game and Jackson by himself on Suns vs. Hornets. What's happening?
Uhhh, that sounds terrible. JVG is my favorite, Hubie is the worst imo. Fun and boring together does not fit
Maybe they are trying to get something other than "Mark Jackson says something stupid, JVG calls him out as clinically r****ded."
yeah, i dont like that lineup either. both jvg and hubie are both to knowledgeable and both have strong personalities. jvg and mark jackson works cause jvg can pick on mark which makes him funny. you can't really pick on or make fun of hubie..
Hubie and JVG I think great combo, both were excellent coaches and great commentators. JVG pretty much makes fun of himself.
Mama there goes Jeff Van Gundy Who knows, maybe Jeff got tired of Mark or vice versa. Probably only temporary though and just mixing things up. Surely they wouldnt mess up the combo of Breen, JVG and MJ
That ESPN commercial is hilarious. The one where JVG is dressed up in the ESPN van and then undresses and opens the door when Stuart Scott knocks.
Hubie is absolutely fantastic. I love how he explains scenarios within the game and puts everything into context. JVG is great too. Mark Jackson needs to move on from being an analyst. He has no insight, even though you would think a HOF PG would have something useful to say about the game he played for 15 years.
I think Jackson's worth is his ability to have a good back and forth with JVG. That's about it though.
Mark Jackson's New York accent makes me want to watch Tim Blake Nelson and Nelson from the Simpsons put Steve Blake in a half-nelson
I like listening to Hubie, the history lesson he gave about the ABA not having a foul out rule was pretty interesting.
Mark Jackson is absolutely terrible. Everything that comes out of his mouth is complete nonsense. I love watching games with Hubie and JVG together, they are both such great basketball minds.
It was more like Jackson picking on JVG 'cause he had nothing intelligent to say. Kinda' like someone stepping on another to 'raise' their level. JVG deserves a better sidekick than a one-trick-'mama-there-goes-that'-pony. I hope ESPN gives the Hubie/JVG combo some time to gel 'cause I like it better.
The other night Jackson was saying how Magic & Isiah were the 2 best PGs to play the game, which is pretty funny considering that when he played he was notorious for his huge ego and constantly talking about how he was the best PG in the game.
