The Rockets will play 15 out of 22 games on the road. 9 out of 15 road games are against playoff teams, and 4 out of 7 home games are against playoff teams. It may be early to start talking about this stretch of the season but may be the first 22 games that T-Mac plays. How are the Rockets going to fair? Losing record? Trades? Lots of griping on the forums? Mid December looks like the best time for a trade to bring in a second center.
prays that tmac comes back early and is actually healthy, esp. for those road games. our players are still fairly young and i'm not sure they can play well on teh road v. the better teams in this league. they are 2-2 on the road, and 2 of those losses are 2 of the better teams right now (portland/dallas). utah i don't know if it should count b/c they're just bad right now (lost to sacto at home too).
Going on the road might be better for them. They seem to already have an Us against the World vibe to them, might create even better chemistry.
Tough stretch. vs San Antonio @ Oklahoma City @ LA Clippers @ Golden State @ Portland vs Cleveland @ Philadelphia @ Toronto vs Detroit @ Denver @ Dallas vs Oklahoma City vs LA Clippers @ Orlando L @ New Jersey @ Cleveland vs New Orleans vs Dallas @ New Orleans @ LA Lakers @ Phoenix vs New York @ Charlotte
I don't think TMac will play very much during this stretch. I don't think he'll be "showcased" because I don't think he's going to be very good, and it's going to take awhile for him to be - if he's still capable. The one area TMac has truly screwed himself is that Adelman doesn't seem to have any compunction to cater to him at all. Someone refresh my memory, but tell me the last time the highest paid player in the NBA has been corrected and contradicted by management in public. AI never even had that distinction, and he once led his team to the NBA Finals. Who else has even come close? We won't "Marbury" Tmac, but we very may well "gaslight" him. His mouth and ego has been too much for any corporation.
Can we just play one game at a time? Everytime someone posts about the upcoming schedule and what the outcomes "should be" for those games, we just go in a funk... Kings game first.
The two games before the San Anton game are against Sacremento and Dallas. When was the last time the Rockets lost 4 straight games?
Dating back to from november 13 to 23,actually that was the longest losing streak these 3 seasons,we lost 6 in a row then bounced back with a lilliputian 3 game-winning streak. Haven't seen them go on a skid with amount of losses piled up,better get even with the Kings tomorrow.
