I don't buy that it's a weak class. It's not an all time great class like 2003, but it's an average class that will produce all stars, solid players, and busts just like most other classes.
Are you serious? He gets in for ONE MINUTE and breaks his jaw? Wow, the Grizzlies can't catch a break.
All the "weak draft" talk was a smokescreen. Even Morey admitted it was a deep draft afterwards. This early in the season and already four players in Griffin, Evans, Flynn, and Jenning are emerging as potential franchise players.
Agreed. Plus there are guys like Harden, Curry, Hansborough, Lawson, Teague, Blair and Budinger are already proving to be solid contributors. This was a good draft class.
Game log of the past six games. November 25 @ Phoenix - 9 points, 5 rebounds in 13 minutes. November 27 @ Portland - 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks in 18 minutes. November 29 @ LAC - 3 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block in 12 minutes. November 30 @ Utah - 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal in 13 minutes. December 2 @ Minnesota - 0 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block in 9 minutes. December 4 vs Dallas - 4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks in 16 minutes. He's starting to show some potential.
That's excellent. I really want this kid to succeed. His league desperately needs more healthy centers. I understand that the Grizzlies have Marc and Z-Bo, but I really think they need to be giving this guy a lit more playing time to help him develop.
