Best quarter of the year followed by the three worst. It's not hard. I have seen Terry and Dirk shoot the Rockets out of games for years. If and when the Rockets put four quarters together like they played the first quarter, they can beat anyone.

That's a team with 40 million dollars sitting on the bench/being flushed down the toilet.

The Rockets 82 games with three guys: Brooks, Hayes and Ariza who are going to see an additional quarter more than they have averaged so far in their career. Players like Andersen, CBud and Lowry need playing time as well...**** even Cook will see more time, how are we ever going to market him to other teams if they cannot see his feared offensive skill set?

I'm so envious of these teams who are able to put every cent they've spent on personnel out on the floor. I'm so sick of watching teams celebrate like crazy while we have $40 million sitting on the bench. Forgive me if I don't jump for joy over T-Mac getting off of his $22 million A$$ & joining the team. If I were Les Alexander I'd be pissed! Hurt, rehabbing, or whatever a title will never be won with this guy as your bell cow! It's the last year of this purgatory and Morey better just let this guy walk and get a real star on this team or it will be the beginning of the end for him as well. WE NEED A GOTO SCORER TO STOP SCORING RUNS BY OUR OPPONENTS!

Hayes isn't expected to score. In fact,he has done way more on the offensive end then expected till today. Battier hasn't done well on offense against big teams like Dallas. He should have gotten more than 3 points. Some of our points were in garbage time too.

Well the 1st half was going great until we started jacking up bad shot after bad shot.

I thought I was watching the Warriors play for a second there.

despite the bad....Carl Landry played good again, Anderson needs to learn what "pass" means...

P.s....battier doesnt need to score any point, his intangibles are enough to win us a championship

I am OK with coach not playing excessive minutes on starters. It is a long season. In fact, Rockets already exceed my expectation. :p

I kind of wanted Budinger in there a little earlier in the 3rd when they were trapping Brooks or clogging the paint.....

But, whatever, we lost our composure......tomorrow is another game.

You expected the Rockets to win 3 games this season?

That's setting the bar fairly low.

No need to blame anybody, now we are leeping on our shooting percentage, this is only one game. Come on...

Right about Battier. His intangibles were enough to win the game tonight.

Battier started off bad last year. He picked it up by the time the year ended.

I expect the same this year.

He was injured to start last year. The only excuse he has this time around is he's one year older.
