Without Yao and Tmac we are an above average ball club, fans shouldn't be too disappointed, Dallas is a good team.
Worrell just said again that Brooks tweaked his ankle in the 1st half. Apparently, it wasn't just a retape.
Most of the 1st half says differently. RA has to stick with his main guys, they start for a reason and 4 of those guys sitting on the bench for the 4th and you can expect the outcome. Also Scola is one of our best rebounders, him on the floor would have helped...not like DA's offense is better than Scola's and we needed DA to score in the post or something. Scola>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Andersen and Scola never got to play in the 4th is odd.
Mavs outplayed us in every single way imaginable the last 35 minutes of game time. Mavs looked like contenders and Rockets looked like a young team that couldn't handle adversity.
Adleman clearly was experimenting with some lineups, getting Andersen playing time, etc.... Unlike 99% of clutchfans, he probably considers the whole 82 game (and hopefully longer) season when watching a game . In any case, I would have appreciated Brooks getting some more help from the refs, but after the LA game we should know that that's not going to happen.
Dallas is a borderline elite team. there 10 deep and thy can play all sorts different styles of basketball
I want him back so the ball can be taken out of Ariza's hand. The one clear pattern that has developed, when Ariza has a bad game, we lose. The reason he has bad games is because he tries to break his man off the dribble and post up when he clearly has neither of this skills. When we win, he is cutting, moving and doesn't have the ball out of his hands. Give the Mavs D credit for forcing Ariza to create.
Anderson got way too many minutes. Hayes and Scola didn't get enough minutes. This was Battier's worst game in the NBA. The whole team just panicked at the end of the 2nd, and they never snapped out of it. This is scary. First time Rockets played like this this season.
The season is just getting started. The Rockets will be getting better. The Mavs are a veteran laden team which plays well at home, the Rockets will beat them in H-Town.
nice first half we play good ab got a strain ankel that change a little the game tempo i think Adelman have to trust more in his hole team if he put pops in the team line up would have make a difrence in this game i'm satisfy with this team, diference in the game Dampier, Marion and Gooden inside presence so Yao can change that
disappointed in the loss but dallas has a team stacked with talent at every position. rockets would have to play a perfect game for 4 quarters for a win and even that is asking for a bit much. time to put it behind and go on to the next game.
