I can't see the game, but I surprised at the amount of posts in this thread that make it sound like you guys actually expected us to beat a loaded Mavericks team IN Dallas. We're underdogs for a reason guys. Besides, it's a long season. We'll recover.

ariza didn't even move tonight; he might as well stayed on the bench.

battier tried, he just couldn't make buckets. and we shouldn't rely on him to shoot (others were just bad so shane tried, but failed)

we're going to have games like this. i dont' know what all the uproar is. a 4-2 record shouldn't get us all excited about this team being great. we're a playoff contender, not a championship contender.

Hope Pops shows Adelman his offensive talent. I'd prefer him then Andersen.

Rockets lost confidence in the offense and the shots stopped falling, no big deal.

Yep, it feels like he just gave up or he's trying to punish someone for something.

Brooks, Hayes, Scola didn't even see the floor in the 4th...something is wrong with that.

What a strange game. Adelman sometimes leaves me scratching my head. Here are a few things I'm confused about:

-Why was Chuck never put on Dirk when he caught fire?
-Why did we keep insisting on iso'ing Trevor?
-Why did we keep insisting on posting up Trevor?
-Why did Brooks stop being aggressive?
-Why didn't Adelman try to put at least Brooks back with the bench unit when the Rockets cut the lead to ten on the Mavs?

So many questions that are sure to be left unanswered. I can't stand losing this game since we were winning by 17, but oh well life goes on. Next game.

I had the feeling this was going to happen after the Rockets got off to that quick start.

They were throwing up off-balance shots that were going in, and Brooks was hitting on all cylinders in the first quarter.

Then, of course, they completely lost their mojo. Like usual, they started playing too much one-on-one offense and it was downhill from there.

Once the Mavs made it a 4-point game before halftime, it was over.

WTF happened? Are we that tired out there? It's only the beginning of the season. If we are planning to run and gun all this season then we have no chance cause these guys look exhausted.

brooks sucked badly when he came back in the 2nd tryng to force things. scola couldn't guard a lick. and hayes i don't know the reason for.

i trust adelman. he went with the guys who he thought would go well, but they struggled tonight. you don't play well every game, jesus.

Andersen is not ready to play at nba level. He doesn't know how to grab rebound.
