The point is he wasn't a superman who was the ONLY reason for the 22-game winning streak. If it was up to Mcgrady the winning streak would have ended after 2 or 3 games. You will never see Lebron or Kobe play poorly in 8 games out of 22. I'm just sick of all the misinformed Mcgrady-apologist trying to use the 22 game winning streak as some super human deed Mcgrady did for Houston. Lots of guys are as deserving as Mcgrady. Yao was great for the first 12 games. Alston played great. Landry had some wonderful games. Battier was terrific but if you believe Me-Mac fans Mcgrady won 22 games without Yao and carried this team lol.

you claimed in your original post tracy hijacked all the credit of the 22 game winning streak? did that happen?

if not, stop making things up. the GARM is already full of bad posts, stop adding to it. if you have problems with other posters, fine, but dont' make things up.

only dumb fools would not acknowledge it wasn't a team effort. rafer alston played out of his head during that streak, along with deke.

tracy played great for the most part offensively, but he struggled in some too. but overall, tracy played well within the system and helped us won those games, whether it be points/assists/rebounds or whatever. but it wasn't tracy who carried on that streak, it was the role players.

Why don't you add assists as that would be very relevant...

Totally delusional argument. Classic strawman. Few, if anybody said he was the "ONLY" reason for the win streak.

You could have fooled me reading many of the posts on clutch where me-mac fans would claim Mcgrady won 22 games without Yao and carried this team

Yes it was a team effort just like winning a ring is a team effort but you still have a best player. And I believe Tracy was our best player doing the streak.

So your saying he played great in 14 games? Looks to me like when he had an off game, he got his teamates involved... Oh, and I dont remember Kobe or Lebron winning 22 in a row with any team they have had..stop the hate and just root for your team...I hated Charles Barkley, but when he was a Rocket, I cheered for him because I LOVE THE ROCKETS..
