This game is incredibly vexing for me. I went to the University of Utah for two years, so this would normally be a no-brainer for me. However, I hate Boise State so much and I don't want to see them get a sniff at a BCS game, so I really want TCU to keep it going. In the end, I'll be hoping that the Utes win, but it won't hurt my feelings too badly if the Horned Frogs win. Not that it matters what I think, though - I think Utah is overmatched at just about every position. I think TCU wins by 17.
In years past, I would have agreed with you. However, having watched every game but one this season, our defense can hang with ANY school in the country. No problem...they are that big and fast. Just ask BYU's QB...who said that TCU was the best defense he had EVER faced...and he faced OU this year. Offensively we have been better than in year's past...especially throwing the ball and having a good set of WR's to compliment our 3 headed monster at RB. Still, not sure how our offense would fare against a top-tier defense, but our defense could hang with the likes of a Florida or UT (however, like I said...I don't know if our offense would put many points on the board against one of those powerhouses...so they should win if we happened to play them...which we won't) Bottom line is we are beating every mediocre team we play by 30+ points, just like a UT or a Florida would do and have beaten the ranked teams we have faced so far. I think we are ranked exactly where we belong...and could definitely win a bowl game against a USC type team
Yea, seriously watch the game Saturday night on CBS College and tell me what you think. A lot of people just haven't seen TCU play and don't know anything about them, if we win this week we have 3 wins over teams currently ranked in the top 25, Texas only has 1, by the way.

Undergrad and Masters from Utah. TCU is the real deal. Psyched that 3 MWC schools get gameday in the same the year. I honestly have never considered cheering for anyone but the Utes but a TCU win would be awesome for the conference. They should have won at Utah last year. Cheering for the Utes to cover the spread. And for more than 10 people to show up at the game. Seriously get it together, TCU!!!
It's sold out, and standing room only last time I checked. They don't usually have very big crowds, but IIRC TCU's stadium holds 44,000 fans. That's a HUGE stadium for such a small student body.
