Landry is the key to make Dirk play D. If Landry can score at 70% of Dirk then we have a great chance. I like Battier or Ariza on Jason Terry, straight Rocket killer. Lowry will also do in a pinch, however, the JET can shot over him.

A little concern about the frontcourt match ups. Hayes will best Dampier for sure but the Scola/Battier vs. Mairon/Nowitzki battle will be challenging.

No issues with the backcourt match up...Ariza should be able to handle someone playing his second game (Howard).

And we have more fire power coming off the bench.

Sucks not having homecourt though.

Rockets Win...barely.

Tough game. We can surprise them with our new u-tempo style. If we can keep it close,we might have a chance. Chuck and Shane will have their hands full with Dirk. If he can be slowed down,we can win,otherwise it's going to be very difficult.

 

Very true,hard job no doubt. Lowry can do a better job on him than Brooks.

 

Terry is notorious for being a Rocket Killer. Call me crazy but I think he's a slight bit more dangerous to us than Dirk is.

This is definitely going to be a tough matchup. I think the Mavericks are going to be a legitimate team this year, possibly a contender. The best part about the Rockets is that we are the true meaning of a team. Completely selfless and everybody is on the same level. And this uptempo style is so awesome to watch. We are the only team I think that can play like this and have good defense, i.e., phoenix and golden state. That being said, if our defense is on par and our offense flowing, we can beat anybody anywhere. Go Rockets!

 

If brooks has his head in the game we got a chance, I think the mavs are the best team in the west this season besides the lakers. I,m worried about this game. This would be a bad loss for the teams confidence and a big boost if won.

 

You might be right. He sure seems to get up for us.

 

We will lose in a shootout. Scolandry and Chuck will have to score,even Andersen needs to pitch in too.

 

If everyone plays well the game should be easy. That means AB has to show up, Ariza, Chase, Hayes, etc.

 

if the rox win this game it will make us 5-2 with likely being 7-2 with the grizz and kings coming up better start than most people expected
