The guy who wrote this article doesn't know the difference between legal and decriminalized. Legal means you're allowed to have it, decriminalized means that it is not a criminal offense to have it but it is still against the law.
I never understood the logic for banning mar1juana. If you can smoke cigarettes, why can't you smoke pot? (I'm not a smoker btw.)
Cigarettes don't make your judgment clouded. However, they are addictive and kill you. I would say mar1juana is more like alcohol. If alcohol is legal, I don't see why pot can't be.

Weed is like a mix between them. Has the harmful physical elements of smoking and some of the mental elements of alcohol. But it has the added problem of having the mental elements hang around much longer than alcohol does. You can go on a weekened bender of drinking and have it all out of your system by Tuesday. Weed has a reputation of making pot heads sound like morons all the time.
Except it's not true. I have not seen any medical proof that mar1juana leads to long-term behavioral changes while NOT under its influence (other than the sociological change to the "pothead" group) or brain deterioration. It's funny to me that most of the stereotypes against mar1juana have no medical basis.
It's because people want to act like potheads when they smoke pot. It's definitely a psychological thing.
