Just saw that on ESPN. It's insane. They are reporting that it's a serious concussion but all tests come back negative. He'll be alright but wow.
Yeah, they showed that at least 60 times tonight on various screens. Ridiculous how he got hit at the peak of his jump and landed and basically got his body folded in half.
Texas might fall to number 3 again via the computer rankings because of Bama's win... but I don't mind. I don't think Texas will get that #1 spot even after the SEC championship game anyways. Don't care... just looking forward to Jan. 7th, hopefully no slippage before then.
Baylor doesn't really worry me at all, but at aTm, they're always pumped for that game. Thanksgiving is either going to really, really good, or just flat out one bad day in my life.
and Tebow the year before had 3 losses but had 20+ passing tds and 20+ rushing tds stats do help most of the time, if your on a good team Troy Smith one year just b/c there was really nobody else . and tosu was undefeated
The problem is this loss might cost Weiss his job. It's very likely they will lose to Pitt next week and Stanford in their last game. If Notre Dame finishes 7-5, Weiss is a goner. He always seems defiant after losses and I wonder if he's baiting them to fire him. His lack of humility makes him come across as an arrogant jerk. If you don't like Notre Dame football, you want Weiss to stay there because they will never succeed with him running the show. If he's let go, they might hire someone good who will take the program back to national prominence.
man, I don't care if your guys showed up freaking drunk to the game on thanksgiving, we're gonna get our asses kicked in our hometown by at least 30, no less. And I'm actually pulling for this to happen, maybe then we can get some personnel change to get us out of the $h!tter.
What helped him even more was his team edging out Texas in the BCS standings. McCoy would've been voted over Bradford if his team won the Big 12 CG with the right to play Florida. This year, barring any upsets, it really will be McCoy leading his team to a Big 12 championship to play the SEC winner. Right now it's Ingram's to lose if they win out, but if he falters vs Florida, Colt is in it.
Stats definitely help, as did the fact that the media fell in love with the "60 point spree" OU was putting on teams as their defense continued to **** the bed. But yeah, you allude at something very important- Bradford not only got to the National Title game, but that Big 12 Championship game gave him the chance to make one final big impression while beating up on an avg. Mizzou team to pad his stats. That can be a big deal for voters who wait for the last moment to vote.
i think colt will put up big enough numbers the last four games of the season. that along with him becoming the all-time winningest qb in ncaa history as well as not winning it last year will vault him to the win. that said, i think keenum should probably win and deserves at the very least an invite to nyc.
Of all ranked teams, UH easily has the worst loss (@ UTEP). @ Central Florida is definitely no gimme either. If UH loses that game as well... sorry, but no CUSA team with 2 losses will have a Heisman winner regardless of his numbers. UH absolutely has to win out for Keenum to have any shot.
he doesn't have any shot. he never did have a shot. part of why college football is a lame duck sport and the NCAA can blow me. deserving it and "having a shot" are two entirely different things.
