How so? Kubiak did not commit defensive penalty after defensive penalty, didn't fumble on the 1 yard line, and didn't miss the game tying FG.

I guess Jim Caldwell learned from the first half FG that trying to ice kickers comes back and bites you in the ass. He made the right choice unfortunately.
