    I can't believe I missed this one!

    .

    Oh no we shouldn't.

I can't speak for Jeff. He doesn't eat meat so it stands to reason he might be in passable shape. The rest of us are to couch potatoes what Karl Malone is to crybabies.

I quit playing ball when I was 21 and am currently so lazy that I get winded playing Sony Playstation basketball.

Clutch is built like Don Nelson, and Keeley would only play if you provided several bottles of GuinnessAde.

And Will, hell, he writes for a living. All writers are alcoholic womanizers, so there's no way he'd play.

C'mon! I thought the idea was for us to win. Not kill off the admins due to their overexertion--- AH HA! Now I've got it. I'm watching you, HOOP-T. You're like one of those Anna Nicole Smith types. Get the old guys into a strenuous situation and then reap the rewards when they die of over-exertion.

    Nice try.

Let me explain something about administrators. Or at least my view of it. I'll let the others speak for themselves.

Being an administrator is a very important position in society. However, it is not on the same career ladder as, say, power forward or point guard. Being an administrator is on the same career ladder as a somewhat different range of positions on the average grade school or high school sports team: towel boy, equipment manager, kid with glasses who carries the clipboard.

I mean, look at us. Clutch with the all-night HTML adventures. Keeley with the stats. Kagy with the BBS hall monitor shtick. Jeff with the veggie lifestyle and running news commentary. Me with the malnourished political analysis on C-SPAN. Nerds, down the line. Do we look like a backcourt?

So let's get this straight. Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. Those who can't play, coach. Those who can't do, teach, play, or coach, administer.

I hereby appoint myself towel boy to the CC.net hoops team.

Anna Nicole Smith types??? He he!!

Anyway, I was only kiding about that. I am surprised it took so long to get a reaction. The time is drawing near, maybe too near to really get this thing going.

Is it possible that we can get some CC.NET hoopster jerseys advertising for the site, scrounge up a few players, and do this? Dallas Hoop-it-Up is right around the corner, and I am not sure when the Houston tourney is.....anyone know?

Duke, buddy! This is what I've been trying to tell you. Put 3 and 3 together. Your wife putting extra postage on the mailman and then leaving you. Then that whole Crisco thing you wrote about. Now the longing gaze at Jeff Van Gundy. Wake up, Duke! It's time to slap one of those rainbow stickers on your bumper!

WILL, DUKE would put a rainbow sticker on the IMPALA, it would look badass, but then people would think DUKE is a gay man!!!

    YIKES!!!!

DUKE does not want a guy with leather pants and a whip coming after me! I got enough of that when I pledged my farternity!

I'm not a nerd! I'm the coach! There's no way a coach could ever be a nerd!

    where did you play
I also played varsity for a school where it was relatively easy to make varsity.
