Lucerne, Switzerland- Rachmaninov's old stomping grounds.

Aberdeen's the place I visit most often though, and it's a hell of a nice change from the scenery in Houston.

As far as American cities go:

    1. Boston
    2. Sea Side, FL (where they filmed "The Truman Show")
    3. Kennebunk Port, Maine

"Hang out" in might imply I have the $$$ to take the necessary vacation...but, I have hung out in these recommended places, and would do so again:

    1. Munich. Oktoberfest. Yes!
    2. Palermo. Incredible blend of history and culture. Watch your wallet.
    3. Rome. Ditto. Ditto.
    4. London. Watch your wallet, but in a different way: expensive as hell, this city.

My favorite cities would have to be:

Los Angeles -- Man, the beaches here are awesome and everyone is so relaxed in the area. I like the lifestyle so much more than here in the South/Midwest.

Las Vegas -- Man, I've been in love with this town since I first visited there when I ws 6 or 7. It has grown so much since just the last time I visited, which was only a few summers ago. The lights, the casinos (even though I'm not old enough to gamble), the hotels, the roller coasters, the women, the shows, the good & cheap food, EVERYTHING about this place I love when I go on vacation.

Dallas -- The only big city in Texas that I regularly visit, even though I live in Texas. Most of it has to do with the fact that its a lot closer than Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, but there is a lot to do here. I would have gone to college in this area but there arent many good choices when it comes to DFW and residential public universities. The North Dallas area around SMU is really nice, but I havnt gotten to spend a lot of time there. The American Airlines Arena is beautiful and its really fun to go see the Mavs play there...

Phoenix, AZ -- Even though its hotter than hell when you visit during the Summer, I love it. The Palm trees, the sand, the architecture, the fact that its gonna be 70 degrees or so on Christmas day, the good shopping, golf courses, and other leisure activities make this city a fun place to hang out. If you are ever in PHX, check out the Metro Center mall. I havn't been there in forever, but I think it used to be one of the larger malls in America plus the arcade there used to RULE. It was one of the first HUGE Gameworks-type of arcade.

I was born in Aberdeen and lived their for about 7 years and I agree that it is beautiful, but I didnt put it on my list because of how god damned cold it is:eek:

another beautiful city to go and see if your in Scotland is Edinburgh the Edinburgh castle is amazing and the views are just as nice as tacomas pictures of Aberdeen

the city of Edinburgh is also much nicer than Aberdeen. Union street in Aberdeen can get pretty disgusting after a good friday night;)
