Just got back from the Suns- Grizzlies Summer League game. The

86-80. Drew Gooden scored 17 and Amare Stoudamire had

about 14-15 pts and 3-4 blocks. They guarded each other alot,

and I liked Gooden for his many moves but is definitely a finesse

type player. Stoudemire is going to be a STUD in a couple years.

He is much more aggressive and powerful than Gooden is, and is

by far the more hustling defender. Too bad Rockets couldn't pick

    him up.

I don't put too much stock in summer league games...Dan Langhi was scoring 20 a night last year wasn't he? And Zach Randolph looked like the next Elgin Baylor.

Speaking of summer leagues...did you guys see this...

Mavericks restricted free agent Wang Zhizhi will play for Golden State's team in the Los Angeles Summer League.
Mavericks coach-general manager Don Nelson said Wang would not play on the Mavericks' summer league team after the center disobeyed two summonses to return to China for mandatory national team training. Nelson said he did not want to support Wang's action, which breaks the Mavericks' promise to China that Wang would return to his native country at end of the NBA season. The Mavericks still plan to attempt to re-sign Wang.

I don't think any of the Rockets games are on TV. I was checking espn's tv listings, and it looks like they are only broadcasting about six games total, starting next Tuesday, and two of those are in the afternoon. I believe they're showing the Wizards, Jazz, Grizz, Trailblazer, Hawks, Bucks, and Bulls, but no Rockets.
It sucks, I woud love to see the Rocks in action, but like most fans, I live in Houston, not California.
