As an avid supporter of the rockets, I appreciate the effort behind this 'fan vid', but imho, that was just horrible and extremely difficult to watch (I can't believe I made it through the whole vid, I guess I was just expecting to get better at some point but it just never did...) ummm yea don't know what else to say
i thought it was pretty intertaining a funny at the end with the rockets red glaaarrrrrsckreeeeeeeech. lol
Madd Hatta was playing this on his show every morning at 8:10 for about a month. There was some inside story about how Carl had been invited to appear on the show, and he declined, saying he'd be in Jersey. But then one of the listeners saw him that night or the following night at Grotto (on Westheimer) (when Carl was supposed to be in Jersey). So, ever since then, Madd Hatta resolved to play Carl's mangled Star Spangled Banner rendition (from a Bulls game, I believe) every morning at the same time until Carl came onto the show. Then at some point, there was a remix of Lewis rendition, which is what the OP posted. The whole thing is hilarious. The Madd Hatta Morning Show is fun to listen to.
Do you not realize thats Carl Lewis really singing The Star Spangled Banner. Mixed up into a song about the Rockets? I thought it was ingenious funny too.
