Many new players on one of the most difficult systems to play in the entire league, both offensive and defensive.

They will heat up once they play 20-30 games.

lotto pick = bad way to rebuild

winning + free agency$ or trade peices = good way.

Brooks need to pick up. The last two games his been making a lot of mistakes. Seems rather shaky. I'm glad we won, but at times I wondered if it would be better to leave Lowry out there.

    Rick knows best though :).

Yeah...but that can be said about a lot of teams. Also Spurs are just getting outplayed in many areas...just doesn't seem like the spurs.

Are these new Unis for the Blazers? They are much better than ours, says 'RipCity'in the front.

Nice win and nice to know that RGV is now Rockets country officially since the games will be shown down here instead of the Spurs. I was able to see the game on Fox Sports down here and that is a first since all this time the RGV has been Spurs regional.

Lowry was phenomenal. He made a couple of ridiculous passes and completely pwned Westbrook who Brooks couldn't stop.

    Scola was awesome, too.

    Chuck was Chuck.

What a game! Brooks and Ariza both looked a bit "off," but Lowry, Scola, and Budinger were the cure for the Rockets. Amazing how quickly Chase has made himself a vital part of the rotation, and how he seems to improve from game to game. Just a really fun game to watch. I'll have this on my DVR for a while.

Westbrook and Durant were killing us, Westbrook going through Brooks like a knife through cream cheese. During the game, I wondered what Durant would do on the Rockets. Man! He would be perfect in Adelman's system.

We do NEED Budinger to win games. We could have beaten the Lakers easily if we had him.

Yup, forgot about Budinger. He's been a revelation. Sweet shooter, good athleticism and super high bball IQ. I'm lovin' it! (fitting quote considering our jerseys tonight which I actually much perferred over our standards)

Brooks and Ariza are ballin. I dont care what nobody says. There is no way Artest is scoring 21 a game and gets us off to a 4-2 start like Ariza has with the kind of opponents we have faced so far. Heck if they call that shooting foul on Aaron right at the end of the Lakers game we are above the Lakers in the standings right now with Artest and Kobe on their team. With Kobe going off for 40 too. These guys are alot better than people give them credit for and I hope it continues to be the same way all season. Underestimation could be a real key to alot of victories.
Budinger? That guy is good. If you think about it in this light we just replaced Artest for Budinger and Ariza. Those two together are way better than Artest coming back alone by alot in my opinion. So we are basically playing with a better team than the one we had with just Artest when Yao got hurt and we won against the Lakers in the playoffs. Not only that. I think Scola, Landry, Brooks, Lowry, and Even chuck Hayes is better than last year since he developed a layup in the offseason. This team could be scary good with Tmac back and I believe a Championship contender with Yao back and us able to limit them to 25-28 minutes a game using the same roster backups in this exact way of everyone getting minutes. Tmac could even come off the bench with Budinger to form the best backup crew in the history of the NBA with Landry, Lowry, Tmac, and Tmac all coming off the bench to push the other teams bench players into a 20 point deficit by the time their starters and ours get back in the game.

The fastbreak really helped our defensive rebounding and it showed the last two games. Despite LA's 17 offensive boards we kept them honest and kept them from absolutely hammering us at home.
