If we put aside our hatred for the Jazz, this guy might be a good addition. He can back up Cat and or add depth to the three spot. Since no one has mentioned him recently, I decided to bring this name up for anyone in the know to tell us about him and the Rockets feelings? If not Russell, who is someone that knows the game that can add leadership and consistant play to this team?
Didn't we learn our lesson the last time we got another ex-jazz swingman who was going to solidify our SG/SF position. Yeah, that one panned out..
Good team player. Good defender. Does the intagibles. Hits the clutch shots. If motivated, he's a great player. Definitely worth a look, in my opinion.
No more Jazz players on the Rockets, they never pan out(Antoine Carr, Shandon Anderson...), plus they're from the JAZZ! Also, Russell's productivity has gone down and he is the man known for getting crossed by 23.

I really don't think we need 12 star players each getting paid star money. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, pal. Can't do it. Don't need the help that bad. Shandon, at least, to his credit, was looking for a way out. Bryon believed in the Jazz. No thanks. I also wouldn't do Moochie for Stockton, Taylor for Malone or T-Mo for Pippen. Even if they'd void their contracts and play free. I just don't want to win that bad.
Don't wanna start anything, but am i the only one who realises that it was an offensive foul? He pushed off. It's funny how bulls fans (not sayin ur a bulls fan) can watch it twenty times and say it was a clean play. That ref's got some splannin' to do.
Man everybody knows thats and offensive foul. But you nkow what, thats Jordan and they're not gonna call it on him We could get him, to back up cuttino, as long as he can park on the 3 point line and MAKE 3's he's a welcome player.
It was a foul but even if it wasn't 23 you dont call a ticky-tack foul (esp offensive) on the last play in game 6 of the finals.......by the way that has to be the best about 30 seconds in NBA history (beginning with the steal)
Batman Jones: "I also wouldn't do Moochie for Stockton, Taylor for Malone or T-Mo for Pippen. Even if they'd void their contracts and play free. I just don't want to win that bad." Batman to the rescue! I'm with you, man. I'd sell my Rockets T-shirts before I cheered for Karl Malone. UT Baller: "by the way that has to be the best about 30 seconds in NBA history" Wow, better than Reggie scoring 8 points in 30 seconds against the Knicks?? For me, the best 30 seconds in NBA history was the last ten seconds of that '94 Rockets-Jazz playoff game when the Jazz needed a score and the Jazz timekeeper "forgot" to turn on the clock.
