I can't lie. Love this stuff. If I could only drink one thing on earth it would be bubble tea.

Problem is I live near Meyerland and work in downtown and I can't find a place that serves it near me. I find a smallplace in Midtown by the HCC campus call Boba but they only carry slushes.

I have to drive to Tea House on Shepherd and Westheimer just to get some.

Is there anyplace near me (Meryerland, Reliant, med center, Galleria) that serves it?

Last time I ate those disgusting little black balls I puked everywhere. I don't think I'll ever be able to have bubble tea again.

If you've ever seen a salt water fish lay eggs you would never be able to drink bubble tea again.

It's always funny to watch people not use to drinking it choke on the tapioca.

What about Happy tea house? Its on Westhiemer and Dunvale. Really cool place, oopen till 2 or 3 A.M. You can play pool, board games and air hockey for free i believe.

They have good fried rice too...

I hate tapioca. I usually get mine without tapioca.

I could never figure out if you're supposed to chew the tapioca lumps or swallow them.

I don't like having to chew my drink, and I don't like swallowing tapioca lumps.

    So, I'm afraid I give it a thumbs-down.

....Or just say when you order bubble tea not to put tapioca in it? I hate tapioca and just never put it in my bubble tea (or I would if there were any of those places in St. Paul)

I loveeee Teahouse. No tapioca for me though! Don't they have a location downtown? Or used to atleast, cause they used to have the addresses printed on the cups. It was a UHD location, IIRC.

There is a name for the "bubbles" or "Tropical lumps", or "black balls"

It is actually a kind of sweet rice originated in Thailand. Rice wouldn't kill you, right?
