    The word "scrub," though not always and not intended by the OP, sometimes has a derogatory racial component to it. As in, racists use the term "scrub stock" to describe people of mixed race. I found the use of the word "scrub" in a thread devoted to hypothetical basketball race wars to be unintentionally amusing, as "scrubs" in the alternate sense would be neither white nor black, and would thus be unable to play in this imagined American History X pickup game.

    And really, that's all we have here: our own unintentional amusement.

    This looks to be in 1909. Way before Hitler started using the swastika. Its interesting that what looks to be native Americans are using an Indian (Hindu) symbol.
