His resume that he speaks of only brought him individual success in exception of the one finals appearance.

It seems pretty obvious that he's speaking about individual success here. It's about what's best for him and how he plays.

I don't think he said that he thinks him starting at PG over Conley or SG over Mayo is the best thing for the Grizz to make a playoff push. Cause, that would mean AI is thinking about the team first, and well...

But as he said, he's not being selfish. He's just a starter, not a 6th man. That's him. That's not selfish.

He was very solid in Denver. Great percentages across the board for a good playoff team...

man iverson is so close minded, what does not get about strategy?

Is m. finley, or even bonner better than ginobili? No, both start over him at some point in their career, as did Roger Mason...

The idea wasn't that ginobili isn't good enough to be a starter, or that he is just made to be a '6th man' or a bench player, its just a plan of attack strategy by poppovich to have a star come off the bench for a new line of fire power and he still closes the game he just comes into play at a different time...

were talking about a guy whose won in europe, olympics, and NBA, and been a star in all of those teams, an all star and arguably should've gotten finals mvp that year they won....

iverson has it in his head that his resume says hes not a 6th man or bench player? look at the guys above, it doesn't mean your a less player its just to add firepower to the 2nd unit and he can still close otu games and have teh same minutes....

    man he is an idiot

Didn't you say we need two playmakers on the floor? C-Bud/Battier/Ariza can do the cutting, Tmac can be the other playmaker alongside Brooks. You can't expect T-Mac to be Rip Hamilton, he's not exactly Kobe Bryant in terms of work ethic and he didn't work on his game enough to learn how to move without the ball.

T-Mac doesn't have to change his game, he just needs to dial down the rock massaging and work on his spot up jumpshooting when he gets back.

He was done the moment Larry Brown walked away from Philly and the all defense no offense team he was playing with disbanded. Nobody just knew it then and continued to throw money at his feet and gave him the license to shoot his way whereever. Thank god the league has passed guys like him, Francis and Marbury by.

    Offensive rating - 9
    Defensive rating - 30

Can Iverson really help this team win? I dont how good of a defender Conley is but can he really be worse than Iverson.

Also, Gay, Mayo, and Randolph already take 17,16, and 15 shots. Is their any room for another 15-18 shot guy in Iverson there. With the second unit, Iveron can take all the shots he wants. With the starters he will have to share the ball and i dont think he will.

The big problem i have with Iverson in wanting to start is he did it after the first game. No preseason and missed the first few regular season games and he is already complaining about not starting.
