But the Rockets are already playing like it's the playoffs and they're the eighth seed. :D

Seriously. The intensity in that game was like Game 8. That was a great game, and shameful way to lose it.

Yep nothing to worry about though, this team has played well the past week. Now we gotta go to OKC and win and get back on track and tell the NBA that we're a team that should be respected.

OKC will be a tough game though. Ariza going to have his work cut out for him guarding Durant.

Yeah, I can agree with that. If he were in the game then he would've been matched up on Kobe.

Oh Mike James where art thou?

It's all about momentum. Don't be surprised when we get rocked by the Thunder on Friday. Don't have your hopes up for that game after that as well. A nice 3-1 start. It'll be 3-3/3-4 in a matter of days...

Oh I'm sorry. Mr. High and Mighty.

Regardless of whatever crap that you have just spewed... I would rather have had Lowry play those clutch minutes rather than Brooks.

    Proud of Hayes.
Withou Gasol, Lakers is not that good, but without T-mac/Yao, Rockets is not that bad.

Actually it's not even about the shooting - it's about the decision making. Movement without the ball. The thing about Chase is that on offense he's like Shane Battier with athleticism. Always in the right place, always makes the right decision, somehow ends up being open rather frequently and is a lethal shooter to boot. Ariza is the polar opposite ... All world physical talent but too often wastes it trying to do things he can't and probably will never be able to.

There is a fine line between optimism and insanity.

You guys do realize we're playing with less than half of our payroll right?

    Good lord.

I hate to be pessimistic, but:

    Lakers didn't have Gasol
Lakers played a hard game against the Thunder last night.

Optimism wins though. Kobe had his 41, and Bynum had a Dwight Howard game.

I'll take this 103-102 loss as a win, actually. It showed how good we are, even if Ariza did squander 16 shots. That's essentially 32 points - 48 points we could have gotten.

How can anyone not be optimistic about this game?

Rockets should use it as confidence and move on, they did all they could with what they got.

We have more than 77 games to go if you know what I mean ;).

I love this team DD and just knowing that we have this many games left makes me happy. I hope you touch on this game during "DD's Rocket Talk" because there are many things that we can learn and appreciate from this game.
