I am very encouraged. We did not shoot the ball that well and still had a shot to win the game. This team is going to be better than I thought.

No doubt, Brooks had an off game, he was one of many though that struggled tonight.

We really really needed Budinger tonight.....I think Brooks, Battier and Ariza were gassed.

And still the team only lost by 1....and the Refs had the Kobe rules in effect.

I am not that upset, proud of the guys, they will get better.....that was the world champions out there.......

The Rockets are right there......RIGHT THERE !

Lakers have Brooks scouted very well.

The Rockets did great tonight and although there are a lot of things to work on, the fact that we almost had the game makes me proud. You can't win them all. I can't wait till friday, bring it on THUNDER.

    True Rockets fan.

The Rockets should start a new mini-red rowdies section in the courtside seats section. But instead of rowdy fans, they could be killer ex-convicts, or maniacal psychopaths! The Refs will be in our favor all the time. :D

he should have been handling the ball...doubt the lakers would try to double Lowry...or let Aaron go one on one, at least that won't bring anyone to double to far from the action, aaron could have spotted an open shooter. the worst part is it happened just the play before and they went back to it..

Actually I think Artest told him how Battier and the team was approaching him. Now he KNOWS.

This game shows exactly why we need mcgrady back asap. We have no go to guy. The lakers just gave the ball to kobe and we had no answer on the other end. Even with the loss, i am still proud of these guys. Didnt have a real good game, and still took the fakers to o.t. and only lost by one. Good job guys!! GO ROCKETS!!

Angry man in yellow was awesome. He was stomping down the sidelines.

Looked to me like the Lakers were focused on stopping Brooks tonight, and he never figured it out. They kept forcing him one direction and shading another guy towards him, but he kept dribbling right into the trap.

I thought Landry and Lowry should have played more in the 4th quarter and overtime, although Landry was not very good in defending the post.

I am ok with that too, the Lakers were committed to trapping Brooks, we need to take what they are giving up......

Love the effort, truly love it. It's games like this that show us we could use T-Mac if he is capable of coming back. Lack of offense killed us, T-Mac could have gotten his shot anytime.

However, t-mac's D on the other side probably would have affected us negatively. Oh well, I'm just gonna enjoy this season no matter what, our guys play with heart!

The key to the Rockets success?
Starting lineup + Lowry + Landry + Budinger score double digits.

Lowry? 8 points man? 10 points and we would have won. If Budinger played, it would have been another Jazz-like-blowout.

true, i mean he probably knew before, but I'm sure ron gave them not just Shane's usual plans but the Rockets'...

and what's up with the announcers all saying Ron called a time out ?? LOL...i thought it was obvious it was an L.

    This one stings.

So many little mistakes, so typical of the Rockets.

2 free throws and 2 less turnovers by Brooks and we win this game.
His head was just not in the game from the get go.

He shot the worst from free throw line for the rockets, had a bad foul on Kobe too on a silly reach in that gave him 2 freebees he is supposed to be the best free throw shooter on the team , 2-5 is unacceptable.

Aaron really helped loose this game. I hope he learns from his mistakes.

all the blame is not on him, but a lot more is expected out of him as a leader on this team now.

Lakers really need to be worried about their bench. This team cannot repeat!!!!

I am a firm believer that if we had Chase, the score would be much different. This would add a reliable shooter, which would've helped us when Battier, Ariza, and Brooks were off. Also, can the rockets please send in tape of the last foul on Brooks? THAT HAS TO BE A SHOOTING FOUL! two feet of the ground
    Only time will help though
i hope CBUD gets back and maybe even TMAC does something worthwhile.
