Not sure if this was posted -- Ric Bucher on Tweeter: @RicBucher Snap Take on Hou-Utah: Vaunted Jazz team O non-existent. Have seen one FG created by passing. Hou, conversely, is a 5-man symphony. Still wondering where the scoring is going to come from, ESPN?
Andersen had a tough assignment going up against Okur, and Okur got the better of that individual matchup.
Awesome win! I don't think we ever spanked the Jazz like that in their own building with Tmac and Yao in the lineup. I'm not sure if this win had a lot to do with the Jazz knowing we were w/o those 2 and our new uptempo style took them by surprise...maybe they didn't think we could sustain our scoring without them...whatever the case it was a great win. Hope Budinger can keep this up...he really showed a lot today.
I think they shared it around - there was always help whenever he put it on the floor. On the offensive side: HUGE props to Adelmans motion offence - some nice spots there. I liked a particular play late where Brooks initiated from the top of the key, passed to Battier at about 14' out on the left wing, Brooks cut down the middle, behind Mensah-Bonsu and looped back out to the left wing for a 3 to receive the bounce pass from Battier for the 3. Sounds like a long-winded play when described, but it flowed so smoothly and left Brooks COMPLETELY open for the shot (which he made).
Oh yeah? And who would you send to Orlando for him? And don't even think about mentioning Cook becuase we just got him from them last year and no one wants him.
I did. I was on cloud nine since we started a 13-0 run over Utah when the game was tied up at 80.That was awesome, haven't seen anything like that for ages.Great team play.
Dude relax, why are you so uptight? It's simple trade suggestion. I already said Brian Cook. You ask why? Well, Gortat is not even getting decent minutes in Orlando right now. He is taking a good chunk of their cap and considering that Orlando is in financial trouble it would seem he would be the perfect contract to trade away (even though they just resigned him). Cook gives them instant relief and I believe it should work out financially since Gortat has BYC status (did not check in trade machine). I just think Gortat is a hard working player that can finish at the basket, block shots, and rebound. Anyways, just a scenario which has no chance in hell happening since it doesn't make sense for the Rockets to take on extra salary for extra amount of years. Which I'm well aware off.
Great win by the Rocks. Everybody played hard n with Heart. Go Rockets let's get this Red Nation going so we can take down the fakers WED. Don't ever underestimate the Heart of the Rockets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NBA.com front page: Rockets grab RARE road win over Utah" we've won 2 of 3 road games, now how is it a rare win? lol
WOW Brent Barry just took a shot at Ron Ron lol...He said last year the ball movement would stop after 2 cuts before "SOMEONE cough cough Ron Artest" took a shot lololol...
We're 2-1 on the ROAD. Only two other teams have played three road games at this point: Kings (0-3) Nets (0-3) Hornets (0-3)
So far they're making those experts looking like a dumb***. This team is fun to watch when all players are clicking and bombing away. I'll have a Bud, please. Great win.
I started watching at the beginning of the 2nd half. I saw the score was 59-58, rox on top. I was like this can't be real, must be a fluke. It feels so freak'in good when the expectation is low. I am actually HAPPY now. I need lose all my money and be happy again.
Lol did anyone just hear Brent Barry imply that Artest was the reason the offense sucked last year while he was interviewing Brooks?
