If we have a game on here, does that count as nationally televised? I remember hearing during post season after Yao got hurt we weren't gonna have any. But checked just now and our game is on NBA TV tomorrow against the Jazz.
I would consider NBA TV to be nationally televised. However, most people have ABC, ESPN, or TNT in mind...
NBATV isn't factored in when counting National TV appearances. The count that was publicized during the offseason. The count comes from ESPN, ABC, TNT where commentators actually have to come. On NBATV, they just tap into one of the teams broadcasts. This game and others were always planned to be on NBATV.
last year they debuted their own announcing crew for the playoffs including kamla and aldridge, but I doubt they will do that for the regular season. they will probably use the local feed as stevierebel describes...
I think it counts as much as a national TV game as Tmac's getting out of the 2nd round counts last year. DD
True, but we'll be on national TV this year, I'm not sure why (either we're over .500 or we go on another ridiculous streak). This team is always a story.
