lol, give the guy a break.

if you don't live in houston and you don't frequent the GARM, how would you really really know of this roster # change even if you were reading cnn or yahoo everyday? most non houston based rockets fans can't watch preseason.

Not to sound snooty, but real rockets fans keep up with their team no matter what circumstances.

Not dissing the casual fans, but asking common knowledge questions is not only a bandwidth waste (because it can be looked up easily), but may also encourage other casual fans to ask captain obvious questions. It may be harsh, but the ridicule afterwards is IMO somewhat necessary.

Plus it's good comedy relief that we always look for.

Major fail on your part. Artest signed with the Lakers, we never traded him away.

No.... They wore red because it's been tradition to wear red in the first home game of the season for the past (idk) how many seasons.

    Besides...

Who the hell cares if the guy didn't know about the number change? Just ignore the thread or help him out. Does it really affect you that much? This is the kind of place people go to find out things like this. Idiots.

Maybe the poor guy didn't want to wade through the pages and pages of mind number idiotic trade proposals, what game will Tmac be back and will he be wearing boxers or briefs, or the since Yao isn't playing should I just end my life threads. Sure, the guy could have done a checked the roster numbers, dropped a name or two into Google, or hey you know what, maybe he could come to ClutchFans and ask a pretty simple two part question and gets flamed. I've been following the Rockets since the 70's and I didn't know that Tmac had changed his number and that Ariza had taken the #1 until I watched the game the other night. I just figured that he and Tmac worked out some kind of deal. Obviously I was wrong, buy my life seemed to go on as normal anyway...how does that happen? I should have known that being a fan. Maybe I should Google to see which shoe Ariza puts on first, the right or the left, nah I'll just post a question in here because I'm sure there's some chump hiding out in the locker room under all the towels and jockstraps in the laundry hamper...because only the really true fans know who's pissing razor blades on the team.

Get a life! Answer the question or go find a nice cave to scream in if all you want to do is hear yourself spew out mindless drivel.

A thread should be dedicated to answer questions like this. Some questions just don't warrant new threads.

and btw, there were a thread created two days before this, asking this same question, so if you could only look for a thread in the two first pages, you would get the answer.
