Like I said, human history is a chain of events, Whites did not not create the world from scratch. It is not fair or logical to discredit those before us by downplaying their essential contributions to the world we live in NOW. It takes time to build good things, the world we live in today was not built over the past 200 or 300 years, we have been acquiring knowledge for thousands of years and the end result of ALL of that effort is that we are experiencing today. Knowledge is cumulative, is all I am trying to say here.

You don't know what you're talking about, again. Money was first used in China, and Ancient Egypt. They aren't sure which actually came first as far using money. But it wasn't a white culture. The one they know did come from whites was Lydia.

A number of those inventions would never have happened had the Europeans gotten gunpowder from the Chinese. In addition the first open heart surgery was a black African American, the first blood tranfusion as well. Ancient cultures in S. America were performing brain surgery while they were still using leaches in Europe.

You won't get an argument from me on that. The acquisition of knowledge accelerated exponentially since the Industrial Revolution, and more specifically since the post-war era. I credit most of that though to the invention of much faster forms of transportation (the automobile and the airplane) and the invention of the computer and subsequent technologies that enabled us to store, access and manipulate massive amounts of information almost instantaneously. These two inventions I think impacted us the most because they altered or removed the traditional barriers imposed by time and space. But if I had to pinpoint a moment it would be the Industrial Revolution, because it enabled us to mass produce and mass process stuff in a way we were never able to before.

 

The Chinese also invented paper, gunpowder, the compass, printing(both types), bell, fermented beverages, lacquer, coffin, rowing oar, automatic opening doors, belt drive, blast furnace, bristle toothbrush, crossbow, continuous energy producing chain drive, recognition and treatment of diabetes, fireworks, fishing reel, fireworks, flare, flamethrower, gas cylinder, india ink, kite, manned flight, match, multi-stage rocket, natural gas as fuel, pinhole camera, playing cards, toilet paper, wheelbarrow, and many others.

It would be awesome if you can post major contributions by other major civilizations as well. I really think people need to appreciate more what others have done for the sake of human evolution.
