I'm actually wondering where the Tracy hate is. I thought for sure after a page worth of posts somebody would have said, "I'm glad Kobe knows how to give advice to one of our premiere players, instead of f---ing around with 15th man Joey Dorsey like Tmac." Looks like we're showing some restraint now. I'm proud of you, ClutchFans.
Kobe and Trev are extremely close. On media day Kobe said he talks to Ariza every day. Kobe took him under his wing here and definitely hated to see him go. Whenever he's asked the question if the Lakers got better with Artest, he always shows Trevor respect and says how much he brought to the team and doesn't know yet if they'll be better. After he signed with you guys he came to visit Kobe @ his camp, you can see how close they are in the video below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpbHdV5OeAk&feature=related
This is the final line of a Yahoo! article about Trevor becoming a go to scorer, and his nice performance against GS: "Some 400 miles down the road in L.A., Bryant probably had a proud smile on his face as he looked at the box score." Get it? The reason Ariza scored 25 the other night was because Kobe told him to! Isn't that special!?! Seriously though, Ariza is getting the most media hype of any new Rocket since Yao. Could the LA media be any more biased? I give it 2 weeks before the headline for Ariza's 40 pt game shows up just below "Luke Walton gets season high 8 boards in loss to Memphis..."
