Well, it's probably for the best that they let them score so quickly. The Cougars have time to pull it out.

Damn you'd think you could rest easy scoring 43 points in a game...but not with this piss poor defense that can't get a stop.

It's never good when you let the other team score 3 TDs in a quarter.

Well, in a shootout, it's nice to be the one with the ball last. Touchdown Coogs!

The offense outside of Beall did their job. The defense should be ashamed of themselves.

What's with the flag guys wearing those long duster jackets? It's weird. They may as well wear pith helmets, or chain of mail.

What a game! 50-43, it is almost like basketball game scores.

Charles Sims is a stud. That kid might be ready for that next step after his junior year. Watchout for him the next couple of years. Keenum over 3,300yds already and 25td. Anybody notice how they were running 20 seconds off the clock everytime there was an incomplete pass? WTF was that???

Keenum is a system QB. Why didn't Sonnie Cumbie or BJ Symons ever with the Obrien award at Tech? System

    What system?

You mean the kicking ass, taking names, and winning games system?

Keenum has played GREAT under TWO coaches... that pretty much throws the system QB bulls*** out the window.

No one thinks Sumlin is a "system" coach... did you think A&M's offense when Sumlin was there was a "system"? Did you think Oklahoma's offense when Sumlin was there was a "system"?

    Yeah, I thought not.

Don't be bitter just because your team is pretty much the worst in the country.

    Keenum succeeded without Holgerson.

    FAIL.

Keenum's arm overcomes a multitude of sins. I wouldn't say he's the next David Klingler / Kliff Kingsbury / Colt Brennan automatically though.

Kind of glad they lost a game now, if they gotten a bowl game vs somebody with stout O-line / D-lines, they'd have been ass-blasted like when Georgia skull****ed June Jones's Rainbow Brite Bunch a few years ago.

Actually his arm is his biggest sin.

He can't throw the ball more than 30 yards consistently.

But his composure, awareness, scrambling, accuracy, release and game management are tops.

UTEP lost at home to UAB, so UH controls their own destiny for a C-USA championship. Big test next week on the road at Tulsa.
